top image flickers and front page have non responsive widgets

Hello,
I have a few errors on the site and I do not know from where to fix them.
One is about the top image of the theme, it loads super slow, making visitors mistakenly press other buttons. Even if I do not have a top image set, like in the shop pages, it is still taking a lot of time for the top bar to appear. And first it appears with a veeery large (full screen) first product image, then switches to small image, but in the List view format and afterwards I see the products in grid view. On mobile is even worst.
Second problem appeared after I updated Thim Core. The Home page is showing weird, the Copyright area goes beyond the screen area. Some elements are not showing or showing improperly, even on mobile, seems is not responsive to any resolutions. Also, the text from site origin widgets are not responsive any more, they go beyond their widget designated area overlapping the next text widget block. This is happening only on the front page, on About Us or Contact or other pages, is showing perfectly well.
