Trouble updating to version 5.1.8

  In my WordPress, I am getting the message “View version 5.1.8 details. Update now.” Every time I try to update, it gives me the message: “Some thing went wrong. Please try again later!” It is later and I tried again. Same thing. What am I doing wrong?
