Unable to add a new section or a lesson to an existing course

Hi,
I am using eLearningWP theme along with Learnpress plugin. I can create a new course and add sections and lessons. However when I want to add a new section or a lesson after it is published, I am unable to do so.
When I type in the new section name and press enter, it just disappears without creating the new section or the lesson. Please help me
