Unable to Change Homepage Icon Box Background Color and Hover Color

I am unable to change the background color of the icon boxes on the homepage using Elementor. The documentation in section 10.3.1.4.Icon Boxes states that
To edit the icon boxes below the slide, you need to edit your homepage with the page builder.

However in Elementor, there is no choice to change the background color of these boxes, only the icon. I would like to change the main background color as well as the hover color for this section. Can you please provide instructions? Kind regards,
