Unable to See Assignments When Added to a Course

Hello, I am trying to build a course however, when I go to add an assignment, I click on the assignments icon, type the assignment title, click enter and the assignment title disappears from the screen but the blank space is there but no assignment title. Then, when I click on edit assignment, I am taken to my WordPress Posts. Please help. I really need to get this course completed. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
I’ve copy and paste the developer access.
