update sailing 4.2.3 to 4.2.5 breaks menu

hello,
when I update the sailing theme from 4.2.3 to 4.2.5 it breaks the menu in the desktop version.
My main menu is horizontal with white letters that turn orange when clicked on or hovered on – see screenshot: https://ibb.co/0trhbcv
When the theme is updated the menu becomes vertical and turns blue – see screenshot: https://ibb.co/LgXpzBk
When I delete all the cookies of the browser the issue remains, also when I go onto a different device.
In the back end however, the menu does look like it should.
I have also tried updating all the plugins and WordPress before updating the theme – same result, and the same when only updating the theme.Please check what this problem is.
