Widget logic plugin not able to update

Dear sirs!
We found a bad behaviour in the Course Builder LMS-WordPress Theme:
The plugin Widget Logic shows the version 5.9.0 and ever single day it comes up with an update notification in the backend.
So we decided to start the updating process. But every time we do so, it still remains on the version as before!So there is no possibility to get a newer version – as mentioned?!
Could you help us here?
