Hello,
I recently re-downloaded the latest Eduma theme for New York Math Academy’s staging site. I am redesigning their website. That said, I literally downloaded the theme a few days after and starting updating the template. I barely made any updates and if I made any updates it was through the plugins since your set it up complicated (with .php files difficult to find).
I am reaching out because there is something wrong with the style.css file. There’s an error message on the bottom “there are 17 errors which must be fixed before you can update this file” and it looks messy. It’s not organized in a way style.css files normally are…it’s just a file of codes smashed together.
Do you have an updated style.css file I can download? How can I fix this? This is impossible for me to fix since I didn’t create it and I can’t read the document in this state. Please advise.
Thanks!Kathy

One more thing, I’m not making any updates to style.css until I hear from your team since the error message also says “making updates might break your site.”
Please advise as soon as you can. Thanks!

Dear kathykim03,
I’m so sorry about that.
With this case, we need access to your wp-admin to check more carefully. Can you give me your site access info, using access information?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Huyen Anh

If you go to theme editor > style.css then you’ll see the error. Here is a screen grab.

Dear kathykim03,
The reason is due to WordPress changed the structure of css code.
But don’t worry, it’ll not effect to your site.
Besides, please help me submit your purchase code. You can read here to know how to submit it: https://thimpress.com/knowledge-base/create-account-submit-support-ticket/

Thanks for looking into this. But, you’re saying its ok even though it say there’s 17 errors and making any updates will break the site…?

Dear kathykim03,
The reason is due to WordPress changed the structure of css code. That’s why this issue came.
But it’ll not effect to your site.
I hope you understand.

Thanks for clarifying! It would be nice if WordPress did something to fix the “issue” or explain that it’s not an error so others do not freak out. :)
Thanks again for your help!
