Which version of Paddle does this add-on support?

The add-on integrates exclusively with Paddle Billing. The legacy Paddle Classic platform is not supported.

Does this add-on handle international sales tax and VAT?

Yes. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record, calculating, collecting, and remitting applicable sales tax, VAT, and GST across international jurisdictions.

Can I sell recurring membership subscriptions with this add-on?

Yes. When used with LearnPress Membership 4.0.1 or higher, you can sell subscription plans on daily, monthly, or yearly intervals, with full support for free trials and setup fees.

Does credit card data touch my WordPress server?

No. Payments process directly through Paddle.js in the student’s browser using publishable client tokens. Your site stores only transaction, order, and customer reference IDs.

Can students manage their payment methods and view invoices?

Yes. Eligible completed orders display a “Manage billing” button in the student’s LearnPress profile, opening a secure Paddle customer portal session.

How are refunds handled?

Refund requests submitted in LearnPress dispatch an adjustment to Paddle. The order marks as refunded only after Paddle issues an approved webhook notification, keeping both systems aligned.
