Have you recently updated LearnPress and found yourself with a wave of 404 errors on your lesson pages? This often happens due to a mismatch between LearnPress and your overall WordPress permalink settings.
Let’s learn how to quickly fix LearnPress 404 error after updating:
Why Does It Happen?
LearnPress has its own internal system for handling how links to courses, lessons, and quizzes are structured. Sometimes updates can disrupt this, especially if you’ve customized your WordPress permalinks in any way.
How to Fix LearnPress 404 Error After Update
Here is a step-by-step to fix LearnPress 404 Error:
-
Go to LearnPress Settings: In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to LearnPress > Settings.
-
Find Permalinks: Click on the “Permalinks” tab.
-
Toggle Settings: Change the permalink structure to something different. You can even just add a trailing slash if it’s not already there.
-
Save Changes: Click “Save Changes.”
-
Revert Back: Change the permalink structure back to your original setting.
-
Save Again: Click “Save Changes” one more time.
This should re-sync the LearnPress permalinks with your WordPress settings, resolving the 404 errors.
Important Note: This is not the same as the main WordPress permalink settings (Settings > Permalinks). Make sure you’re adjusting the permalinks specifically within the LearnPress settings area.
Additional Tips to fix LearnPress 404 Error:
