Where will students see the announcements? 
Students will primarily see announcements displayed clearly within the course details page (single course layout) of the course they are enrolled in. If you enable the option, they will also receive the announcement via their registered email address.
Is sending announcements via email mandatory with this add-on? 
No, the email notification feature is optional. You can choose whether or not to send announcements via email on a per-announcement basis, giving you full control over communication channels.
